Membership
All persons eighteen years of age and older who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purpose of this club are eligible for membership in the Moore County Kennel Club of North Carolina, Inc.
While membership is unrestricted as to residence, the club's primary purpose is to be representative of the breeders and exhibitors in the immediate area.
Membership dues are $15.00 per year for an individual, $20.00 per year for a couple, and $25.00 per year for a family. Dues are payable on or before the first day of January each year.
Each applicant for membership is required to complete a membership application and agree to abide by the club's constitution and by-laws as well as the rules of the American Kennel Club. Each application for membership is required to carry the endorsement of two members.
Each application for membership must first be approved by a majority vote of the Board of Directors. If approved by the Board, all applications are to be filed with the Membership Secretary and each application is to be read at the first meeting of the Club following its approval by the Board. At the next Club meeting, the application will be voted upon and affirmative votes of 3/4 of the members present and voting at that meeting shall be required to elect the applicant.
